Turf Laying
Laying turf can be a time consuming back breaking job and if not done correctly the results can disappointing. That is why it is recommended to have it laid professionally with correct preparation of the underlying soil including levelling and ensuring the area is free of debris, pest or potential problems.

Top Dressing
Once your new turf has been laid it is important to give it a good top dressing of clean sand. Top dressing helps to increase nutrient retention, improve drainage and increase disease and pest resistance. It will encourage the production of new shoots, and result in a thicker lawn with the added benefit of hindering moss and weed infestations

Mikes Grassing around wont bail on you once the turf is down, we understand that the first few weeks and months are critical to establishing your new lawn and we will tailor a lawn care programme to suit your needs and budget either giving you all of the information you need to do it yourself or by tailoring a lawn care maintenance contract to suit your budget.
